I grew up in an era of time when people of faith walked the land like the hero’s out of the Testaments. I watched in wonder as William Branham, Oral Roberts and others healed the sick and cast out devils in tents and auditoriums across America.
When someone said, “there goes a person of faith”, you came to attention, knowing that God was directly involved with them.
I wanted to be a “man of faith” also.
I wanted to heal the sick and cast out devils too.
I wanted to know God intimately like my hero’s did.
Since those younger days I have learned something about this elusive thing called faith.
v Faith is a gift given by God to all people.
v Faith is like the wind. You can’t see it; you can only see what it affects.
v You can grow your faith by exercising it. The more that you “walk by faith” the stronger it gets.
v Without this wonderful faith we can never please God. ( Heb 11:6) Because of that we dare not live without it.
So here’s the “Good News”.
Faith is a gift given to everyone to believe in God. Because of that, God’s faith is given to us and by that faith we live and move.
Be encouraged as you move forward. If you will do what you can do, God’s faith, in you, will take over and do the rest.
Remember , ”nothing is impossible to him that believeth”.
